At Midtown Dental, the full implant process from consultation to the final placement is conveniently completed in-house at our state-of-the-art dental office in Sacramento where we utilize the latest tools and technologies offering you the safest, most convenient, and comfortable dental implant experience.

Planning Your Implant

Your journey toward your dream smile begins with a detailed consultation led by Dr. Jenny Apekian at our technologically advanced dental office.

Utilizing the latest digital imaging technologies, Dr. Apekian will capture a 3D X-ray of your jaw and create digital impressions of your teeth. This allows her to plan your implant procedure digitally and ensure the utmost accuracy and safety during the implant placement process.

Implants Surgery

Dr. Apekian will place the implants in your jawbone through a surgical procedure. We take your comfort seriously during this procedure and can offer you a local anesthetic or have other sedation options available if you prefer. Once the dental implants have been placed, the gum is then secured over the dental implants and records are taken to fabricate a 3D printed temporary prosthesis on that day of surgery. Yes, this is possible under the right conditions and in fact preferred to ensure good healing. A soft food diet is required during the healing process.

During this process, the jawbone grows around the implant to strengthen and hold it in place. You will also have the opportunity to evaluate the fit, function, and esthetics of your temporary prosthesis during this phase.

Final Placement

For the final step, Dr. Apekian will remove the temporary prosthesis and replace it with a final prosthesis. We also take the time to ensure your final product will blend in with your natural teeth, mimicking their shape, size, and color.
